Well another week gone by in Whangarei, the aussie sticks to his task but lady luck eludes the Darwin lad. Hopes are still high because it seems things move slower than they do in Darwin, which I thought would be impossible. Because in Darwin itís the tropical way, and they say the NT (as in Northern Territory) stands for Not Today, Not Tomorrow, Next Time!!
Have taken the country air with a drive to Matapouri along the Tutakaka coast, hugging the hills while I ponder my position in this green green world of fabulous coasts and rugged hills full with sheep in one paddock, and then next steep pasture, dairy cows wandering back to the milking shed as if on remote.
Phil explains what went on in Oz’s election
in his district, as his frostbitten toes begin
to thaw – – down south in northern New Zealand…
Well…. sitting at Russell’s, http://www.subtropical.co.nz with the doves, swans and Stumpy the lorikeet. Arrived at Whangarei safely and drove up here under a stormy cloudy day, but the sun shines thru now and then. Everyone is busy, Russell is filling orders and Mac (Russell’s partner) is off to cook at the west coast cafe, Sharky’s, for the night. So I am enjoying the serenity of this magic bolthole.
Till next time, take care my friends, Phil

So big changes are afoot, I will scout for a job in New Zealand, while Leonie finishes her commitments here in Darwin,(Oz) (likely deadline July 05), meanwhile she will have a couple of trips to visit me across the pond.
Thatís the plan, so stay tuned…..
